Work from Active Addiction

The pieces from this period are fragments of survival—art made in the depths of active addiction, when everything felt fractured, raw, and uncertain. These works carry the weight of pain, disconnection, and desperation, but also flickers of clarity and the quiet, persistent need to feel something real. Often created in moments of chaos or numbness, this art became both a coping mechanism and a quiet cry for help—unfiltered, unrefined, and deeply human. Looking back, these pieces reveal more than I understood at the time: the shape of suffering, but also the spark that refused to go out.
